Café San Lorenzo is an outdoor, summer-only, pop-up restaurant by the folks at the Half Nelson, on Motor Row (East Second Street), Quad Cities USA.

The restaurant is our love letter to an old-timey, romantic Italy we like to visit in our dreams— think “Roman Holiday” or “La Dolce Vita.”

Each season begins after Memorial Day and ends whenever it starts to feel like fall.

We are obviously weather dependent and will not open if there are extreme heat warnings or threat of severe storms. We may close early if summer storms start to develop as the night goes on.

As we are a small restaurant operating from inside another restaurant, our menu is short and concise— we have limited ability to accommodate certain allergens and dietary restrictions.

We do not take reservations. Walk-ins only. Enjoy a visit to some of our fine neighbors while you wait.

We can NOT accommodate parties greater than 4 people.
